Real Live Cars!

Today we got to go to the Children's Museum in Denver to see Mack, Finn McMissile, Lightening McQueen, and Mater. 

 We waited in line for HOURS, but it was totally worth it to see them! We mostly went for Jacob and he was thrilled! When we finally got up to the cars he started throwing fits because he wanted to ride IN the cars. (Granted we had been standing in line for three hours by this point.) He made some interesting observations. We asked later if the cars were shiny and he said, "Finn McMissile was shiny and Lightening was shiny. Mater wasn't shiny." He also discovered that Lightening didn't have any doors.

We went with Amber & Dana Wilkins and their three kids, Alyce, Chloe & Caleb and Marybeth & Brandon Isle and their four kids, William, Caitlyn, Britton & Bradley.  We had a great time catching up while we were in line.  It was great to have new friends too because they all entertained each other while we waited.
